I am… more unwell than usual. This is a red alert. High fangirl squee mode. I feel like I’m 15 again. Still alight. More so, even.
I just have a thing for monstrous-looking guys. Hot, fang-smiled, pointy-eared, freaky skinned, oddly shaped, gorgeous monster guys. -Mordax By the way, I started reading Girl Genius.
I am alight!
Throughout the years Mordax and I have highlighted a lot of really negative things said about otakukin here. Today, I have the happy privaledge of sharing something really positive. Here’s an email that we received this morning; I’ve removed all personal information. Hi there; I came across your website while looking for information about Otakukin, a word I had never seen before today (found it mentioned on Wikipedia). Firstly, congratulations on a well set-up website.…
There are only TWO fucking episodes of Lost s5 with audio commentary?! That is a ripoff! That is balls! I feel cheated! -Mordax
Lately I’ve been feeling very ‘un’. Unnoticed, unwanted, unappreciated, unimportant, unreal. It’s been going on for a while, but Christmas really brought it home. I made a point of not letting Mordax make the list by herself. We split it fifty-fifty. Mordax got a ton of things she was wanting, but me, not so much. I was had especially impressed upon mom how much I wanted KOTOR, at least I thought I had. Now I…
Emasculated! I was cut down to the quick over a cellphone!
Just watch the video. 😛
I think the Edward Cullen doll I bought is possessed. It keeps calling to me with it’s empty, staring eyes. -Mordax
Newish picture is newish. Inferior photographer is inferior.
Called 4 different GameCraze locations. The one on Ridge Road actually has the game! W00t! You know I <3 you but you are so hard to buy for! (if you are reading this, the gift is not for you; sorry. 🙁 ) -D
Found on 6aCornfield on journalfen: So, LJ is making it mandatory to choose either Male or Female when signing up for a new account. Oh, and choosing Unspecified? HAH! That’s silly! Marta replies to RM’s post here. -Mordax and David
Albus Dumbledore had looked long and hard into the future; and he did not like what he saw. In the future he loss of Lilly Potter’s friendship, the only woman in the world that Snape would have eyes for, had ultimately sent him into a downward spiral; destroying his life, and nearly the wizarding world along with it. There was only one solution: Dumbledore would have to scour the multiverse to find the perfect bride…
Oh Xell. It takes so much effort to get really *good* chaos and disorder going. I do it for you. And for the lulz.
Update of an old pic I did when I was just starting drawing. The Happy Mask Man from Zelda- even the face he shows isn’t real. DeDraMo 11. Pencil, photoshop. 1 1/2 hours. Who is that Happy Mask Man by ~Greer-The-Raven on deviantART For comparison- the original. Drawn in 2003. The Happy Mask Man by ~Greer-The-Raven on deviantART
DeDraMo 9 (catch up from yesterday to come later.) Having just finished Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, I needed to draw some father-daughter tenderness. Pencil, pen, photoshop. 2 hours. Silent Hill:SM I Need Love by ~Greer-The-Raven on deviantART EDIT: DeDraMo 10 catchup Here’s James Sudnerland. I love James. He looks like someone’s following him! That can’t be good! Pencil, photoshop. 1 hour. SH2: Anxious James by ~Greer-The-Raven on deviantART
Story: The story is amazing. If you enjoyed the stories is the first 3 Silent Hills, this game will be a joy to you. It has a tight narrative, well acted and superbly paced. The game play and story fit together like a glove. The use of the psychology tests to tailor the details of the story to the specific player are used masterfully, and fit easily within the whole narrative. The characters are all…
It is snowing like crazy here. How appropriate. My muscles are sore from all the wiimote action. XD Full, spoiler free review coming this evening.
THAT WAS THE BEST SH STORY SINCE SH 2. I refuse to spoiler anyone for it. PLAY THIS GAME.
Harry’s doc needs his license revoked for being a serious asshole. <lj-cut text="we're in the…" Mall now, a couple of chase scenes later. Still dying, but its less fursterateing now that I have the hang of it. I feel just as disoriented as harry to the plot though. Oh, and Cybil thinks I killed Lisa. O_O
Finally got through the 2nd chase sequence. Looking back, it was fun, although MASSIVELY frustrating the first 20 or so times I died. Finally made it to a check point (and puzzle) which gave me back my encouragement to keep playing. I’m out of the chase now, standing on a bridge. So far, I am liking the game, though I’m barely into it. Its neat to see the psych stuff play out in the game.
This game is beautiful; however; I am stuck in the dark, in the woods, with only a flashlight, and no sense for direction. I have been killed about 15 motherfucking times trying to run through this motherfucker with no sense that I am getting closer to a victory. I have to retry from the beginning of the chase sequence every time. This game does not play to my strengths. -Mordax
So, Shattered Memories is out today. Having had it pre-ordered for ages and ages I am soooo excited to go pick it up after work (before D&D assuming we go). We have taken tomorrow off to play it, and will be putting a blackout curtain in our room for effect. I may end up posting our thoughts during breaks in play. LJ-cut so no one who doesn’t want to be spoiled will be. I have…
Re-reading Dracula, I remembered how much I like his genuine appearance. From Chapter 2 of Bram Stoker’s novel: “His face was a strong, a very strong, aquiline, with high bridge of the thin nose and peculiarly arched nostrils, with lofty domed forehead, and hair growing scantily round the temples but profusely elsewhere. His eyebrows were very massive, almost meeting over the nose, and with bushy hair that seemed to curl in its own profusion. The…
You know you’re in bad shape mentally when mom saying she might refuse to take you to DnD tonight nearly reduces you to tears. -D
