Thinking about how long it takes for most people to see someone who’s suddenly got a radically different vocabulary, body language, preferences and priorities– how long it takes for most people to see that and even *consider* the idea that it might be someone else in that someone’s body. They might notice that something’s different, but most people don’t even consider the possibility. To them, body=person.
