“Chris.” Despite the shades, Chris could tell his captain was looking him over. “You look… wet.”

Chris grinned bashfully, pushing his sweaty hair back from his face. “Sorry, sir. The A/C. It’s been out in the precinct all day.”

“I hadn’t noticed.”

One glance showed that that was true. Unlike Chris, hair plastered back, sweat beading his forehead, uniform damp, Wesker looked as ice cold as usual, not a hair out of place.

“You must really know how to beat the heat, captain.”

“Hmm.” Wesker put a hand on his shoulder. “Why don’t we put you in the shower.”
